Facial Mask

Proactiv Facial Mask is designed for the removal of acne and other forms of blemishes on the face. Aside from removing the blemishes, the product can also prevent these blemishes from appearing. They are also effective for people whose skin is prone to pimples.

How to Use the Mask

Step 1

Clean your face using the Proactiv Renewing Cleanser. Using this cleanser will help as Proactiv products are made to complement each other. This also ensures the mask will work to its fullest capability.

Step 2

Place a small amount of the mask on your finger. Apply this on your face uniformly. A thin layer will be sufficient. Cover the whole face with the Proactiv Facial Mask. Make certain you do not put any on the eyes. Avoid putting any on the lips as well. If needed, apply more. However, do not thicken the layer.

Step 3

Leave it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow the mask to dry. You will know the mask is starting to dry because a tightening or tingling feeling will be felt. This will be apparent all across your skin. This is normal; it only means the ingredients are working.

Step 4

After 10 to 15 minutes, wash the face with warm water. Make sure the mask is totally removed. If you want, you can add some Proactiv Repairing Lotion before you go to bed at night.

The treatment is to be administered two to three times per week. It will also help if you wash the face regularly.

This product is often used with the other Proactiv products. The mask works by soaking up the oil in the skin and by healing the inflammation caused by acne. Consistent application will also improve the appearance of the skin.

Tips and Warnings

If skin is sensitive, apply only a little amount. A moisturizer will also prove helpful in keeping the skin fresh and smooth. It should also be noted that the skin may be more sensitive to the sun when you undergo this procedure.

Improvement should be obvious after two weeks of consistent use. If the acne is minimal, the improvement will be noticeable in a couple of days.
