Homemade Facial Mask Recipes

Facial Mask For Oily And Acne-Prone Skin
You can try out the following recipes to keep your skin from getting too oily or developing acne:
1.Lemon and Egg White Mask You will need two egg whites and about a teaspoonful of lemon extract. Simply mix the two ingredients together with an egg beater until the mixture turns fluffy. Cover your face with the mask and leave on for about ten to twenty minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
2.Grapefruit and Sour Cream Mask For this recipe, you will need about a teaspoonful of grapefruit extract, a teaspoonful of sour cream and one egg white. First, beat the egg white until it becomes fluffy, and then add the sour cream and the grapefruit extract. Mix everything together until well-blended. Cover face with mixture and leave on for about ten to fifteen minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
3.Banana and Honey Mask Mash a ripe banana and mix in honey. Blend well together and then add about a teaspoonful of lemon extract. Mix again until blended well. Apply on your face and leave on for about fifteen minutes. Wipe off the mask with a steaming washcloth.
Facial Mask For Dry Skin
1.Avocado Mask Mash about half of an avocado and then add about a teaspoonful of olive oil. Mix well together. Cover your face with the mixture and then leave on for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
2.Brown Sugar and Milk Scrub This recipe is not only great as a facial mask but is also an excellent exfoliating scrub to rid your face of deep-seated dirt and dead skin cells. Mix about one-fourth cup of brown sugar and two tablespoons of milk any milk will do except skim milk. Blend well together and then gently scrub your face with the mixture before leaving it on for fifteen minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
3.Egg Yolk and Honey You will need one egg yolk, a teaspoonful of honey and one teaspoon of milk. Mix all the ingredients together until you get a smooth mixture. Cover your face with the mask and leave on for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Rinse off with warm water.
