Dirt Masks for Acne

Today there are many types of dirt masks for acne being sold. Many of these masks, creams and spa services cost a lot of money. Fortunately, you can easily make some facial masks in your kitchen.

Eggs and Honey

This treatment is useful not just for removing acne but also prevent UV rays from hurting your skin. It also helps minimize the effect caused by severe winter weather.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons oatmeal
1 teaspoon honey
1 egg
1 ripe banana

Directions

Remove the banana skin. Slice it into small pieces and put it in a bowl. Mash it with a fork. Get another bowl and break an egg in it. Put only the egg whites in the bowl. Combine the banana with the egg. Mix the two then add the honey.

Mix the ingredients again. Now add the oatmeal little by little. Keep stirring as you add. Stop adding oatmeal when the mixture resembles paste.

To use, get a foundation brush and dip in the mix. Apply this on your face, avoiding the mouth and eyes. Leave it on your face for 25 minutes. Rinse it with lukewarm water. Use a cotton towel to pat your face dry. This dirt mask for acne can be applied every three days.

Honey and Olive Oil

This mask can get rid of acne and also skin inflammation.

Ingredients

½ teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon plain yogurt
1 teaspoon pure honey

Directions

Combine the ingredients in a bowl and apply it on your face. Let it rest on your face for 15 minutes. Lukewarm water has to be used for rinsing. This mask should be applied every night before going to bed. Aside from acne, the mask may also be used to treat other skin problems. It is also suitable for various skin types.

Orange Peel Powder and Yogurt

Combine 2 tablespoons of orange peel powder and 4 tablespoons of yogurt. When they are well mixed, apply it on your face in a circular manner. Keep it there for 5 to 7 minutes. Wash the mask off with cold water.

Dry your face with a cotton towel. This treatment can also remove blackheads from the face. It will take about two weeks before improvements take place.

These dirt masks for acne can be used regardless of skin type. Those with skin allergies or conditions should consult their doctor before applying any of these on their face. if you don’t have allergies, there should be no problems.
